The organizing Committee encourages you to register for the symposium in advance to take advantage of discounted registration rates.
Online Registration will be available from the beginning of June (The exact date will be announced soon).

Registration fees may be paid by bank transfers or credit card (VISA, MASTER, AMEX, DINERS, JCB only). Checks will not be accepted.

The number of Lunch Boxes is limited.
We recommend you to pre-order along with your registration online, to secure your lunch.
On-site application is also available, but it will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • *1. Student participants are required to upload the copy of student ID for the online registration. For the onsite, please bring the copy with you to the registration desk.
  • *2. Abstract co-authors can not be allowed to register as an accompanying person. Please note that accompanying persons are only family members, spouses, or interpreter of registered participants.

2. Registration Procedure

Only online registration is accepted for the preregistration.

  • * Registration by e-mail, fax, post or phone cannot be accepted.
  • * For Pre Registration, both the registration and payment must be completed on and before:
    • ・November 12 (Mon.), 2018 (credit card) in Japan Time
    • ・November 13 (Tue.), 2018 (bank transfer) in Japan Time

3. Payment Method

All payments must be made in Japanese yen with credit card or by bank transfer.
No other type of payment will be accepted.

  • (1) Credit card
    VISA, MASTER, AMEX, DINERS, JCB are acceptable.
  • (2) Bank Transfer (telegraphic transfer only)
    Please note that all transfer charges (both incurred at the paying bank and the beneficiary's bank and intermediary bank if any) must be paid by participants.
    The bank account will be informed to you on the last screen of the online registration, or by e-mail to be sent automatically after completion of the online registration.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be notified to the Symposium Secretariat by email ( with the delegate’s name and his/her Registration ID.
Refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Requests for 100% refund may be accepted until Oct. 1, 2018 in Japan Time.
Cancellation after Oct. 1, 2018 in Japan Time, no refund.
Please note that all refunds will be made after the Symposium. Procedure costs for cancellation refunds will also be applied to participants.

For quick and accurate processing of your registration, we would appreciate your sending a copy of the bank remittance receipt.

5. Confirmation

Upon receiving your application and fee, confirmation email will be sent with your registration number before the symposium. Please remember to bring this confirmation email with you and pick up your name card upon arrival at the venue.


Anyone entering Japan must have a valid passport. In addition, delegates from particular countries must have a visa issued by the Japanese Embassy or Consulate General in their home country.
Consult your local Japanese Embassy or Consulate Generals as to whether you require a visa. Please note that the standard processing period can take more than a month to obtain a visa.

The Secretariat can issue a letter of invitation and necessary documents upon request to those who need a visa.
In order to issue an invitation letter, delegates must:
Complete online registration and fee must be paid in full. If a visa is applied for but not granted, the Organizing Committee will determine the appropriate refund after the Symposium.
